Annie's Birthday Interview and Party

Annie got a set of face paint crayons as an early birthday present. She wanted to do butterfly face paint at the party. Fortunately she had many willing test subjects at playgroup and volleyball during fall break! 

This year, Annie requested a butterfly party. This girl has so many friends and she wanted to invite them all. We managed to narrow the list down to 10, which still felt like a lot of kids!

Behold, the combined face painting efforts of Annie, Mimi, and me! We had the kids do some crafts while we were getting through the face paint. 

Activities included playing hide the butterfly, making a butterfly snack out of pretzels and fruit, and a new favorite- a human pinata! We taped a bunch of dum dums to Aaron's shirt and had him run around while the kids ripped lollipops off. I wish we had gone to the park for that part- there wasn't enough room in the house for Aaron to run away without knocking over little girls.

Naturally, we will ended with the classic dance party to a playlist Annie made.

7. What's your favorite animal? "Dolphin."

8. What's your favorite snack? "Wraps." (She means cream cheese, Nutella, and peanut butter)

9. Where is your favorite place to go? "That's a hard one... The beach."

10. What do you want to be when you grow up? "An artist."

11. What's your favorite song? "Dance the Night by Dua Lipa"

12. What's your favorite Primary song? "Tree of Life."

13. What's your favorite book? "Chrysanthemum." 

14. Is there anything else you want to say about 7 year old Annie? "I made a lot of new friends in school."

Annie is adventurous, kind, creative, spunky, smart, and so full of life! She dances through life and always wants to be with her people. She is a delight to have around and we are so glad she's in our family!
