Our first morning at the Baggs's house was general conference. Rhianna greatly sweetened the deal with some samples from her and Rinnley's freeze dried candy business.
We even got to help make a batch of freeze dried caramels and jolly ranchers!
Here are the jolly ranchers in the machine with some ice cream sandwich bites in the background
Begging the queen for more treats
Naturally, Brad and their dog Parker have matching pjs.
Annie is usually not a fan of dogs, but she had a special relationship with Parker (who got her name because she was found abandoned and starving in a parking lot). Annie was the only one of the kids who could get her to listen to commands to do tricks. The hooligans were using board game boxes as construction tools with the hot wheels tracks.
We went for an evening stroll to Tanner's Mill Park in the evening. Brad collected a crowd of mini fans while he flew his kite while the kids and dogs got to run off some energy.
Naturally we played lots of games! The Baggs are our long standing board game buddies. It really felt like old times. The Baggs moved away when Annie was just a baby. She asked when we were leaving if she has any other best friends that she doesn't remember that we can go visit because this was so much fun. There is something special about reconnecting with old friends.
