I think that Isaac's superhero bday party was the most fun one we have thrown so far! There was some seriously fun little boy energy. It was also fun that Elliot and Annie got majorly involved in the planning and set up.
Isaac had been earning these superhero figurines with some potty training milestones. They made the perfect cake toppers.
Chocolate Strawberry superhero!
Before the figurines went on the cake, we had them in red solo cups with tissue paper rubber banded over the tops. I had kids take turns punching into a cup, and the super hero inside determined the activity we would do next.
The best of the activities was the hulk smash room! Elliot drew city skyscraper scenes on many of the boxes.
Annie was still pretty out of it after her tonsils surgery, but she mustered the energy to participate in party time
Complete chaos! We ended up having a few more kids than I was planning on, so it was really a squeeze to get into the rooms.
Look at that happy birthday boy smashing away!
Here's the Black Widow obstacle course
I didn't get pictures of the other activities due to the overall chaos of the day. They were:
Batman- Baterang, baterang, who's got the baterang (button, button, who's got the button with a paper bat cutout)
Thor- decorating cardboard hammers
Iron Man- knocking over cup pyramids with lincoln log "missiles"
Captain America- We turned our red frisbee into a shield. The kids took turns wearing it and defending themselves against Elliot and Ethan's sock ball attacks.
This cute guy had a great day!
