Annie is 6 now! Don't worry, she's still obsessed with unicorns.
She was super lucky to have Mimi and Grumpa in town for her party! Her actual birthday was during fall break, so we had the party a week early so more of her friends could come.
Mimi and Breezy went all out with this cake, and Annie LOVED it! Elliot made the eyelashes.
An adorable gaggle of birthday girls
horns up!
The most popular activity was follow the leader dance party. I swear they were jumping up and down for a solid hour and wanted to come back to dancing after the other activities.
Dance party break to do... whatever this is
They also played unicorn themed 'duck duck goose' and 'find the unicorn.'
The coolest part was a scavenger hunt in the backyard that led them to unicorn chalk and water balloons. They used the chalk to draw all over the wall and then erase it with the pink water balloons.
Annie with a unicorn rock she found outside the Allergist. We got her re-tested for peanuts. In a wonderful turn of events, she is no longer allergic!
Annie is just the best. She is SO social and would have a playdate every day if I let her. She loves tagging along for errands and learning new things. She frequently asks me, "Tell me about a person" and then wants a story about any historical or fictional character. She is very affectionate. Her jaw drops to the ground when she unravels a mystery. She's an animated story teller with hands that are always moving. Her catchphrase is "So, what?" She loves dancing and acting out plays with her cousins and whoever else she can rope into her productions. She's a "yes" girl who is really up for anything! This past year was a big one for her. She learned how to read and how to ride a bike. Annie is just a delightful person to be around.
I caught her singing to herself in the mirror while standing in the sink the other day
She was oh so willing to be photographed lol. I love her confidence!
Happy Birthday, Annie!
