On the morning of Halloween, we drove down to Tubac to see the old Tumacacori ruins. The mission was founded in 1690's. The big church was built in the 1820's but was never fully finished and eventually abandoned. They had a nice walking tour and museum, as well as a smattering of reconstructed buildings and huts. There was also a lady making tortillas on a wood stove (delicious, but the salsa was a bit spicy for me).

Not pictured: The tortilla lady's ramada, our picnic lunch, a really nice garden, a mud hut, and other various structures
There were also a bunch of trails. We only got to go a little ways before we had to head back for Elliot's nap.
