Elliot changed a lot in October. He is super mobile now with a speedy little crawl and getting into all sorts of trouble. He's working on collecting bruises on his forehead and chewing on our furniture. He is also learning a lot- how to wave, how to open drawers and cabinets, etc etc. He has not mastered the concept of ledges and tries to fall off of chairs, couches, and beds whenever possible. No words yet despite my best efforts. He's sleeping really well. He cries when we walk into his room and he knows that he's going to be abandoned, but he stops pretty much as soon as I'm out of the room.
SO CUTE |
Elliot with a ginormous (and very nice and mellow) dog. He loved her and laughed whenever she moved, but started crying when she barked. |
Elliot looking adorably dorky with his shorts & socks combo |
Compensating for his earlier dorkiness with some gangster action (the monkey pjs only slightly ruin the effect) |
He loved kneeling so that he can grind his teeth on the crib rail. We dropped the mattress so he can't do it anymore. |
Elliot likes staring at other kids, especially his friend Alice |
so... interesting... |
What a great face. I'll give you 3 guesses what he's doing here. |
He enjoyed playing in boxes, but not face planting out of boxes |
Examining a salt shaker while helping Aaron with his homework |
He still has a fascination with vacuum cleaners. He follows me around warily and plays tries to grab the cord. |
