Annie's awesome preschool teacher organized a fieldtrip to the Zoo in December. The big experience was feeding the giraffes! Annie was scared and captivated at the same time.
Giraffe tongues are SO COOL!
Seriously. They are purple and so long.
A bond was forged between child and beast this day.
Isaac was all on board with giving snacks to the giraffe. He's quite the snack guy himself.
Annie was recovering from a bug (it seems like we were all sick for like a month), so she was pretty low energy by the end of the field trip. I'm still glad we went. It had been too long.
Annie is always sneaking in Science projects, which usually involve getting random things wet/glued together/dyed with food coloring. She recently got in trouble for deciding that her white shirt would be cooler if she dyed it blue.
